Bought the car with a 302 and Vortec combo and quickly split the block in two pieces because of apparently not having a tune. Spent way to much money on the car so it sat in the garage until I got sick of not driving it and stacking things on top of it. Decided to part out the Vortec and had a 347 built by a local guy.
Let that sit after spending too much money on the engine and buying a house. Met a dude named Batten who was buying some parts off of me and he said to bring it to his place and he would have it running in a day. He did like a boss took it to Pete at Performance Dyno in New Hampshire who tuned it.
Now it is running like a champ after 6 years of ownership and less than 5k miles.
