2nd car for me, 3rd owner. Picked it up in May 1985 with 29K on the clock and perfectly stock. Sold in November 1997 with 192K on the clock and quite modified. Went from 18.5s/72mph to 15.9s/84mph with all my tinkering on the 2.3L 4cyl engine.
1980 Ford Mustang (Silver)
Modified naturally aspirated 2.3L 4-cyl engine. Ported/polished factory carb, intake and head. Modified open-air element air cleaner housing. FMS A237 roller cam, FMS tappets and Ford roller followers. 5-angle valve job with Manley tulip stem 1-piece SS valves. 0.020" over pistons. Pacesetter full length header, 3" intermediate pipe, 2.5" Dynomax turbo muffler, 2.25" GT tailpipe.
Factory 'porn' red interior, vinyl high-back bucket seats, no center console and Kraco stereo as purchased. Upgraded the interior with front/rear cloth seats, rear carpeting, center console from a 1983 GT. Changed red dash pad for black unit from a 1982 Capri.

Upgraded the stock/aftermarket pieces with a Highland Stereo house brand head unit and EQ/Amp unit along with Pioneer front and rear speakers.
Cut stock coil springs (1 full coil at each corner). Poly end links on swaybar.
