  1. Fordstrokers Dart 363: N/A EFI with TW 205 Heads, Box-R Intake and with an AOD

    5.0/5.8 Engine Tech
Believe it or not, I actually had a 1.599 on the stock 20" all-season radials. It was my first pass with the Hellcat. It was also my best 1/8-mile but it fell off on the back half of the track for some reason. It should have been a very low 11 sec pass like 11.10-11.15.
  2. Fordstrokers Dart 363: N/A EFI with TW 205 Heads, Box-R Intake and with an AOD

    5.0/5.8 Engine Tech
Yes it does. I've had it in "Sport" mode for traction most of the time which turns off traction control and leaves some stability control active. I haven't tried either eliminating all traction/stability control by holding the traction button for 10 seconds or leaving it in street mode to see...
  3. Fordstrokers Dart 363: N/A EFI with TW 205 Heads, Box-R Intake and with an AOD

    5.0/5.8 Engine Tech
P.S. - I hope I don't get in trouble or banned for posting Hellcat stuff on here.

I watched your electric supercharger video. You are very ambitious and definitely like doing things differently than everyone else to make your car faster, lol. I'll check back to follow your progress. Photobucket has ruined nearly all of my Corral threads and posts due to blurring my...
  5. Deep pan and windage tray worth it?

    5.0/5.8 Engine Tech
Woody put a deep 7 quart pan and windage tray on my 363 and it didn't add much incremental cost. It just makes sense to me if you have it apart anyway and especially if you need to buy a pan.
  6. Fordstrokers Dart 363: N/A EFI with TW 205 Heads, Box-R Intake and with an AOD

    5.0/5.8 Engine Tech
It's been a year now and still haven't missed it one bit. lol Yesterday I put the Hellcat on the same dyno that I used when I had the Mustang. 100% stock 2017 Hellcat except aluminum driveshaft and Vibrant mid-mufflers.
  7. Are all the sbf dart blocks made of the same steel?

    5.0/5.8 Engine Tech
That is a very quotable comment. It sounds like something that should be made into a sign and displayed in every machine shop. You know, like the sign that says you can only have two out of these three options: Quality, Fast, Cheap. lol
  8. 1985 GT Mustang 5spd

You say "all original" but I thought the exhaust exited one side in 1985?

It's pretty much winter now. We need a new update! lol
  10. Advanced Search Function - Please Help

    Community Help
I finally found exactly what I was looking for. This new format along with the new terms had me confused (actually I'm still learning). What I wanted is now called "Participated Discussions" within the "Following" category. The administrator's post above showed it to me but I didn't know what...
  11. Advanced Search Function - Please Help

    Community Help
With the old Corral format, I used to use the "Advanced Search" function to located threads I had posted in. I would put my user name in the user name field and simply hit search. It would then list all of the threads I had posted in and the ones with the most recent activity would be listed...
  12. Fox Body Battery

    5.0/5.8 Engine Tech
I had my battery relocated to the hatch area of my 1989 GT. I used an NHRA-legal battery box that vented to the outside (tube through floor to outside). I used a Sears DieHard Advanced Gold AGM battery (Group size 34). The battery was a model number 50734. This was several years ago and it...
  13. Just built a street car that gets less than ONE MPG

    Green-Rodding
Fordman50 hasn't been on Corral since October 2012.
  14. Antiroll bars that work with stock 93 exhaust system.

    General Mustang Tech
We installed the Team-Z ARB for tailpipes in my car last year. I also have the Flowmaster 3" tailpipe kit (part # 15821) and they easily clear each other. I have 4.5" of space for tailpipes between the ARB and frame rail. Here is a picture of my exhaust setup. We added the Team-Z ARB after...
  15. "Stretching" 255/60/15 on 15x10

    Wheels and Tires
You're welcome. And I love talking about mustangs, modifications, racing, etc also. Add some pictures to this thread when you have them on your car. I hope they look good and don't have any clearance problems for you. Dean

    Literally. ;)
  17. "Stretching" 255/60/15 on 15x10

    Wheels and Tires
Not exactly what you're looking for, but I had M/T 255/60/15 drag radials on 15x9.5 wheels and they didn't look stretched at all in my opinion. The wheels are 9.5" wide with 6" backspace.
  18. 8" vs 9.5" AOD Torque Converter

    Drag Racing
No reason other than I didn't want to deal with the cost and hassle of the additional swap parts right now.
  19. 42LB INJECTORS

    5.0/5.8 Engine Tech
Those injectors are the long style so they should be the same length as the old EV1 injectors. You will need adapters for the wiring harness. I think the part number is M-14464-A8 but don't quote me on it. This is the setup I'm going to use on my new combo. The injectors fit my fuel rails...
