The Drew Technologies, Inc. DashDAQ is an integrated OBD-II scanner, programmable instrument cluster, performance computer, data logger and GPS unit. The embedded LINUX system has a full 24-bit color, 480x272 pixel display, integrated OBD-II connector, USB port, two auxiliary input ports, and an SD Card slot. The DashDAQ draws its power directly from the OBD-II port eliminating the need for a 12-Volt power cord. The system is also a performance measurement computer and can record acceleration and deceleration numbers, including: 0-60, 60-0, quarter mile time and horsepower.

BEDFORD, MA (April 14, 2009) - iRacing.com Motorsport Simulations, LLC announced today that it is developing digital versions of a series of Ford competition cars for use in the iRacing simulation service.
The first two vehicles announced as part of this new digital line-up of Ford race cars are emblematic of Ford's storied racing history, the Mustang and the Ford GT. iRacing engineers have begun the process of gathering the data necessary to produce digital duplicates of the Mustang FR500S and the Doran Ford GT-R. |
