Exterior
Many companies sell Cobra Grille Inserts, however, some of these companies are buying the inserts directly from PPI! The other companies are making their own inserts. The PPI insert is different from other emblems in a very important way. Other companies use the same plastic Cobra emblem found on the sides of the car. As you probably know the lofty fron end of the Mustang takes quite a beating from road debris, rocks, sand, ice, snow, and Camaros as you drive over them! Over time the chrome plating on the plastic emblems will eventually wear off, or given a hard enough hit from debris, could simply break. Unlike cheap immitations, the PPI Cobra Grille Insert is made of metal, its finish is not chrome plated and will not wear off! |
TOOLS SECTION
The only tool required to complete the installation is a T-25 Tamper Proof Torx Driver. You can get these from your local auto parts store or hardware store. |
Set the stock Mustang emblem aside and line up the new PPI Cobra Grille Insert over the threaded holes where the stock emblem formerly sat. Re-install the T-25 Torx Screws and tigten them gently. That's it! Stand back and admire! You can get these inserts by calling Performance Parts Inc. at (703) 742-6207, or visit their web site at http://www.performancepartsinc.com. The Cobra Grille Insert is only $34.99 and is a great way to add that special touch to your Cobra or GT! |
